Verstappen's arrival in Saudi Arabia delayed by illness
Red Bull's Max Verstappen has been forced to miss the customary media obligations ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, after falling ill with a stomach bug.
The two-time world champion was delayed in his arrival to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, prompting him to announce via social media that he will not be present in the paddock until the first day of practice.
Feeling fine again, after not being fit for a few days because of a stomach bug. Therefore, I unfortunately had to postpone my flight for a day, so I won't be on the track until Friday. See you in Jeddah!
