Scuderia AlphaTauri Unveils 2023 Livery in New York City
Scuderia AlphaTauri reveals 2023 Formula 1 car in New York Fashion Week event. However this is mostly a livery reveal. It is common for teams to conceal the true design of their new car as much as possible until it is revealed through testing or filming days.
Scuderia AlphaTauri unveiled the 2023 Formula 1 livery in a unique event held at the Lincoln Centre during New York Fashion Week.
The event, which was attended by key stakeholders in the motorsport world, gave attendees an exclusive first look at the new car livery.
The event marked a milestone for the team as they make their first foray into the American market, which is set to be a pivotal year for Formula 1 with the addition of a third US date to the calendar.
Franz Tost, Scuderia AlphaTauri Team Principal, said: "Formula 1 has seen a huge increase in popularity over the last few years, and it’s extremely important that we continue to grow in this market."
"I’m pleased we were able to launch our 2023 livery here today in New York City to show our appreciation to the US audience."
Yuki Tsunoda, Scuderia AlphaTauri driver, commented: "The classic Scuderia AlphaTauri colours look great next to the new clothes and I can’t wait to try both out this season! The livery looks fantastic and I can’t wait to see it on track."
Nyck de Vries, also a Scuderia AlphaTauri driver, added: "Representing the brand at New York Fashion Week has been extremely special for me, and really showed me what the brand is about. The livery looks great and I can’t wait to see it on track."
It is important to emphasize that this event only showcased the new livery, rather than any major upgrades to the A04.
The car's design appears to be largely similar to last year's offering, with only small visible modifications
