Ferrari's Leclerc fastest in morning session on final day of F1 testing

Charles Leclerc set the fastest time of pre-season testing so far in Bahrain on Saturday morning, with a lap of 1m31.024s on the softest tyre compound.
The Ferrari driver led Mercedes' George Russell by four tenths, as the teams shifted to more performance work.

However, Alfa Romeo hit trouble with Valtteri Bottas causing a red flag due to suspected gearbox problems.
McLaren also had their own issues, with rookie driver Oscar Piastri spinning and spending a lengthy spell in the garages.
Sergio Perez set the fastest time on the medium tyre, while Nico Hulkenberg returned to Haas and took seventh.
With just one afternoon of testing left before the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix, the teams will be hoping to make the most of their remaining time on track.
