Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is set to bid farewell to his long-time performance coach and physiotherapist, Angela Cullen.
The New Zealander has been an integral part of Hamilton's entourage since 2016 and played a key role in the Briton's successes in recent years.
Hamilton has previously praised Cullen for her unwavering commitment to his success, calling her arrival "one of the greatest things to happen in my life" and praising her as "the single hardest-working woman" in F1.
After seven years of working together, the duo has announced a mutual split and paid an emotional tribute to each other.
"For the last seven years, Angela has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself," Hamilton said on his Instagram.
"I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her. So today I hope you'll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams."
"Thank you for everything Ang, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you."
Cullen, who has also worked with Olympic athletes and rugby teams, described Hamilton as "the GOAT" and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with him.
"It's been such an honour and a pleasure to stand alongside you, I'm so proud of you, and everything you have achieved," she said.
"Thank you for supporting me, believing in me, and showing me the limitless potential we all have within us."
"I am so excited to watch the next chapter for you. There's nothing you can't do."
