Ferrari's SF-23 launch raises the standard for F1 car unveilings

Ferrari has unveiled its new SF-23 Formula 1 car, which the team hopes will help it win the championship this year.

The Italian squad was joined by new team principal Fred Vasseur, as well as its drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, for the unveiling at Maranello.

While the SF-23 builds on the progress made with last year's F1-75, the team has undergone significant changes in the off-season, with Vasseur replacing Mattia Binotto as team principal.

Vasseur is confident that Ferrari can win the championship, but acknowledges the pressure to capitalize on the team's recent momentum.

One area of focus for the team has been improving engine reliability, which was a major issue for Leclerc during the 2022 season.

Ferrari will also be looking to address its strategic mistakes from last season to avoid a repeat in 2023.

Speaking to the media, Vasseur said, "We have everything to win...it's just a matter of continuous improvement for me."

Ferrari fans will be hoping the SF-23 can deliver on these ambitions and help the team return to the top of the F1 standings.
