Christian Horner has "terrifying" level of power at Red Bull-Albers

Former Formula 1 driver Christijan Albers expressing grave concerns over Horner's sustained grip on power within the energy drink company's racing operations.

Albers' scathing remarks come amid reports of probes into Horner's alleged misconduct and a public spat between the team boss and driver Max Verstappen's father, Jos.

Speaking on the De Telegraaf podcast, Albers did not mince words, deeming it "terrifying" that Horner still commands such authority at Red Bull.

He warned, "I think a lot more will surface," hinting at potential revelations that could further undermine Horner's position.

Albers questioned Horner's role in Red Bull's success, crediting advisor Helmut Marko's driver program for unearthing talents like Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.

"Looking at success, with all due respect, all success comes from Marko," Albers asserted.

Amid the maelstrom, Horner has remained defiant, asserting his leadership at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix:

"I lead this team, and everybody has a key role to play."

However, the Red Bull hierarchy's decision to dismiss the initial investigation into Horner's conduct has done little to quell the rising tide of controversy.
