Leclerc topped Q3 with a time 0.321 seconds ahead of McLaren's Oscar Piastri, while Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz rounded out the top three.

Q1 brought unexpected drama as McLaren's Lando Norris was eliminated early, finishing 17th after aborting his final lap due to a potential yellow flag.

Other notable exits included Daniel Ricciardo, who ended 16th, and Sauber's Valtteri Bottas, despite team support.

Q2 saw further surprises as Williams' rookie Franco Colapinto impressed by advancing to Q3 for the first time, outqualifying his teammate Alex Albon.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen topped the session, while rookies like Ollie Bearman just missed out on the top 10, finishing 11th.

In Q3, Ferrari initially held a one-two, with Leclerc leading Sainz. Piastri pushed hard to claim second, while Red Bull's Sergio Perez finished fourth.

George Russell took fifth, with Verstappen surprisingly down in sixth. Lewis Hamilton secured seventh, followed by Fernando Alonso in eighth, Colapinto in ninth, and Albon rounding out the top 10.
