F1 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix-FP1 results

Daniel Ricciardo emerged as the fastest driver during the first practice session of the 2024 Formula 1 season in Bahrain, leading the pack with a lap time of 1:32.869.

The RB driver narrowly outperformed McLaren's Lando Norris by 0.032 seconds and Oscar Piastri by 0.244 seconds, indicating a competitive start to the season.

Yuki Tsunoda, also from the RB team, secured fourth place, followed by Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso in fifth.

The reigning World Champion, Max Verstappen from Red Bull, placed sixth, while Mercedes' George Russell finished in seventh position.

Completing the top 10 were Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, and Sauber's Valtteri Bottas. The full results from FP1 are available for review.
