Alpine complete 2023 F1 grid with launch of A523 car
Alpine completes the 2023 F1 grid with their new A523 car launch in London, showing off two liveries. A successful shakedown was completed earlier in the week, with testing in Bahrain up next 23-25 of February.
Alpine have officially completed the 2023 F1 grid with the launch of their new A523 car at a ceremony in London.
The French manufacturer, which finished fifth in the 2021 Constructors' Championship and fourth in 2022, will be hoping their new challenger can take them to the next level and close the gap to the front of the grid.
The team unveiled their new car at the Printworks events venue, showcasing two liveries: the team's traditional blue colour scheme, which has symbolised their time in the sport so far, and a pink livery inspired by their title sponsors, BWT, that will run at select races this season.
Alpine's driver lineup of Esteban Ocon, who is entering his third season with the team, and new signing Pierre Gasly from AlphaTauri, will take to the track at pre-season testing in Bahrain from February 23-25.

The team expressed optimism about the A523 after conducting a successful shakedown at Silverstone earlier this week.
Gasly praised the car's performance, describing his experience as "very good," while Ocon and Technical Director Matt Harman also had positive remarks.
"It's been another milestone ticked for the A523 with our shakedown at Silverstone, and I'm pleased the day ran so smoothly," Harman said.
"We've certainly had a great day, and we now look forward to testing in Bahrain where we expect to continue our learning of the 2023 car."
With the new season fast approaching, Alpine and the rest of the F1 grid will soon head to Bahrain for pre-season testing as they gear up for the first race of the 2023 season.
